Claude Code 2.1.68: Opus 4.6 Medium Effort Default
Opus 4.6 now defaults to medium effort for Max/Team subscribers. Ultrathink keyword returns for high-effort reasoning. Opus 4 and 4.1 deprecated.

Breaking Changes
- Opus 4 and 4.1 removed — These models are no longer available on the first-party API. Users with these models pinned are automatically moved to Opus 4.6.
Update Claude Code to the latest version. If you have Opus 4 or 4.1 pinned, switch to Opus 4.6 with /model.
